About Me

My name is Andrew Joseph Mostajo and I am a cinematographer and photographer based in the Bay Area. I am currently attending University of the Pacific in the process of obtaining my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Media X. Within my major, I am focusing on the photography and videography side to digital media, as well as learning the business and marketing aspect of it all. So far in my school career, I have produced and shot several music videos, interviews, and other films on top of doing multiple private photo shoots. Along with school, I am in the start up of building and running my own personal brand and business company, where I will be creating my own content and offering out my paid services for private photoshoots and video shoots. In my career as an artist, I hope to be traveling for a small portion of my future, while creating vlog type videos, as well as video documenting and photographing what I encounter. My goal along this time is to be constantly bettering myself as a content creator and taking my business and brand to the next level. ​

 

My artwork is created out of my own personal enjoyment of capturing each and every special moment so that we can always look back on them and remember. As an artist, I focus a lot of my work to be within photography and video production. My style of media often tends to reflect my current state of being, which shifts the types of projects I would be working on. When it comes to my photography, I tend to be very well rounded in my different styles that I prefer to shoot in. But I find my main style of photography is in casual and lifestyle portraits. Here I find myself to be more creative and happier with my work. Along with the different styles of portrait photography that I shoot, I am also well skilled in sports and nature photography and even landscape and cityscape stills. I soon hope to expand my skills in photography to be more adept in concert and special event photography shootings. When it comes to film and myself as a videographer, I personally just have an immense amount of interest in filming creative videos such as music videos and videos for dancers. Other than these, I am skilled in sports and action type videography features that focus on highlighting the skills of the subject.
